I arrived in Seattle, Washington on a Wednesday and the wedding was on Saturday. When I arrived the clouds were parted and the sun was out. On the day of the wedding it was a totally different story. I woke up and at the moment there was no rain. I don’t even want to go into my morning that day. But all I will say it was BAD! Family you know what I mean. Shaina it will definitely be something that I will never forget. Let’s just say you made up for it by your amazing assistants during the wedding.
Shaina my sister was my assistant for the day. She did a fabulous job! I think I need someone like her all the time. Carrying lens, getting water, food, getting coffee for the whole bridal party for me. Yup she did above and beyond!
Back to the day of the wedding. When we arrived to the location of the bride the sun was still out and I was praying away. Well as soon as Jamie put on her dress. The rain came. Shaina and I took off to head to the ceremony site. They were married at the Lacey Community Center. Even though it was raining cats and dogs at points. Jamie I have to say that you were spectacular! I loved that you guys were totally fine taking pictures out in the rain. While your dress was soaking in the water. All you cared about was marrying your man. And that kinda love and thoughtfulness is one of a kind.
I need to thank you Brandon and Jamie for giving me my first experience of photographing a wedding in the rain. I couldn’t have ask for a better bride and groom to do it with! To the bridal party. UMMM HELLO WAY TO MUCH FUN!!! LOL
To the parents and family of the bride and groom. Thank you also for baring the rain for some family pictures outside.
I love this moment of laughter
Love it when a Bride and Groom do a First Look.
Brandon loves to fish so these pictures were just perfect for them. They are just to cute.
This photo was taken directly after the ceremony. It captures the excitement of the bridesmaids and it makes me laugh that Cody is checking his phone.
The bridal party was so much fun to photograph!
