I know that today is suppose to be something I love but I can’t help myself to show some photos from yesterday’s adventures. So you are stuck with me bragging about my nephew Connor again. I know like I said I can’t help myself he is just the cutest! I guess this is what happens when I don’t have any children of my own. I either talk about my friends kids or my nephew’s.
Yesterday it was so hot in Burbank so we packed everything up and headed to Zuma only to find out that it was 65 degrees and cloudy. But we ventured out anyways because Connor has never been to the beach. He just stared at the waves as they crashed. I think in the end he was more interested in the seagulls that got into our trail mix though. We set him on the blanket and he got into the crawling position. One step at a time getting closer to the grainy sand. One hand in the sand and it was pulled right back out for him to look at the tiny bits and stare at it with a confused look on his face. He rubbed his fingers together and then came the sad face. Well I guess he didn’t like that. We just laughed. You can’t help but not. That sad face is just to cute! I mean look at it.
So in the end we will try again when it is nicer out. Till next time. Hopefully he will like it better.
After driving home from the beach we were back into the 85 degree weather so we headed to the pool. And this was definitely his love. He just splashed and splashed away. It was so funny because his eyelashes are so long the water would get stuck on them. I loved swimming with him and can’t wait to do it again. He is for sure a water boy!
