Hayley | One Month Old

Is it really one month already…

Hayley is just growing up so fast already. I feel like so many things have changed.

Just yesterday she started using her abs to lift her head up when she lays on her back. Both Josh and I were shocked about that one. HAHA.

Before Hayley was born and even before I knew that she was a girl I made these onesies so that I can take a photo of her every month to see how much she grows. I’m so glad I did this cause I can’t wait to have all the photos in a book one day for her to look back on to see her growth progress. And to have what happens each month too.

This has been a CRAZY month. So many things have happened.

We had Hayley…then 2 days after we got back from the hospital we moved a few houses down from where we used to live. From a 1 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom house. My mom stayed with us for about 3 weeks. My dad came for a week. Then my older sisters family came for a week. When everyone went home we had friends over I turned the oven on to make a dessert and then the next thing I knew there was a fire in the oven. It went out on its own but then the smoke would not stop billowing up. I called 911 the fire department came. And they cleared out the smoke. So we stayed at our friends house that night. When we went back home in the morning. There was tons of ash everywhere but thankfully nothing got destroyed. We are so thankful for friends and family that have helped us out in the process of moving, providing food, and cleaning up after the stove fire.

So that is our CRAZY month that I will never forget. Hopefully this month will bring some time to just enjoy with our little family. And settling into our new home.

Hayley Jewel Stone

She is here! Our baby girl!

I can’t believe that it has already been 3 weeks since I had her. I’m truly enjoying every moment with her. She has already changed so much from when she was born.

Going from 6lbs 12 oz when born to 6lbs 2 oz then back to 6lbs 12.5oz in a couple weeks.

Being more aware each and every day.

Discovering her hands.

Following us with her eyes.

Smiling more and more.

Holding her head up for so long.

It is just so fun to see what she is going to do next.

Here are a couple photos of her little self:)

Penny Dobson Jones - She is BEAUTIFUL!

Tommy + Talia Wedding | Schmidt House, Washington

When I talked to Talia on the phone. I immediately felt like I needed to photograph their wedding. She seemed so fun and extremely sweet. And I was totally right. When I met her in person I couldn’t believe that I hadn’t met her before.

The day was absolutely gourgeous. I couldn’t get  over the light. Shooting in Washington makes me miss the light. It is so different then California. I was in heaven. Good light and a fabulous couple!

Wedding location: Schmidt House, Washington

Talia was glowing throughout the whole day.

Melissa and Steve | Engagement, Palm Desert, CA

I met Melissa as one of the Bridesmaids for Alana and Wesely’s wedding. When she contacted me to take some photos for their engagement shoot I was just thrilled. Melissa is so just the sweetest person! I couldn’t get over just how HOT this couple is. I had a blast photographing them. They brought their doggies with them in the beginning. It is always keeps me on my toes. Which I love that about photographing animals. They did very well.

See what I mean HOT HOT HOT:)

Thank you Melissa and Steve for having me capture this moment in your lives. The best of wishes on your wedding day! So wish I could be there!
