When I first sat down for my interview with the Sassola family I was so nervous. I had been looking for the right family to work for. It had been quite a stuggle. But then I saw Keri’s beautiful smile and heard Marcel’s sense of humor and I felt at ease. The more we talked I could truly tell how important their children’s up bringing meant to them. I shared how I was brought up and my personal experiences. We chatted for awhile and when I left all I could think of was I really hope that I get the opportunity to be apart of this family.
Well, a few days later and a meeting with the children. I was hired! And I couldn’t be more grateful for all the memories that I have with my 2nd family here in CA! They have been a huge part of my life. Okay here comes the water works. Take a deep breath Amy…Hold it together….When I made the decision to just do photography (Which was in January) It was such a tough decision because they lived in Santa Barbara and I would be moving back to Burbank. It is an hour and a half each way so I knew I wasn’t going to be able to see them all the time. And that is still really hard for me. When I packed everything up and left there were tears shed and plenty of hugs given.
The Sassola’s mean so much to me and Josh. They are family! And we will always be apart of their lives.
Sassola’s thank you for always supporting me in my photography business you have made the transition smoothly for me. You all have a special place in our hearts. And by the way I seriously miss all the craziness!!!!
I can’t wait to see the children grow up into adults and for you to be apart of our growing family too one day…Keri that will still be awhile 😉
Anthony is a Senior this year. I just can’t believe how grown up he is getting! From a 8th grader when I first worked with them.
Parker is a Freshman, and Isabella is now an 8th grader. How they all grow up so fast!
I love this photo of them. It just makes me laugh. Because they really are just all silly and goofy.
I LOVE THIS FAMILY!
